Summary

DERIEL (H2Giga)- In this project, the RWTH Aachen is carrying out a model-based process engineering investigation of the potential for integrating electrolysis into upstream and downstream processes. For the downstream processes, the provision of carbon monoxide will be investigated in a simulative and experimental manner. In addition, electrochemical and electromechanical aging phenomena of proprietary MEAs (membrane electrode assemblies), as well as their description and prognosis depending on load profiles will be examined on a laboratory scale.
